PLSA Committee Nominations
As you are aware elections for the PLSA Executive are held annually, with half the positions becoming vacant every year. As a result there are eight vacant positions on the PLSA Executive up for nomination:
– President (2 years) – 1 position
– Vice president (2 years) – 1 position
– Treasurer (2 years) – 1 position
– Secretary (1 year) – 1 position
– Committee member (2 years) x 3 positions
– Committee member (1 year) – 1 position
Nominations for these positions are now open. The nomination form can be found here. Nominations are due by close of business at 5pm on Thursday 7th of November 2013. Information on how to nominate is also included on the nomination form. We have put together the document “Easy guide to PLSA Executive 2013“, to answer any potential questions you have about the upcoming elections.
We are encouraging you to think about nominating, and being part of a dedicated group of professionals leading the direction of Public Libraries in SA.
